On the Contentstack “Entry Trigger” in Automation Hub there is now the ability to add reference parameters to the trigger. This allows you to include reference field content in the payload information (usually done by adding an “include” parameter with the name of your reference field in the API call). This may be necessary when sending information to an external provider such as a search service in order to ensure that reference entries are included.Must provide the unique_id of the content type containing the reference field. Nested references must be typed: parent_content_type_uid.referenced_content_type_uid Note that this information is one-way in the payload of the trigger.Read more in our documentation. If you have any questions please let me know!
Hi,We have a complex website where entries for different content types can be created under any URL prefix. We’d like to know if it’s possible to get an entry via Delivery API / SDK based only in the URL. This is because, when a page is requested to the app, the frontend has no way to know which content type that entry belongs to, just its URL.We’ve seen examples, like in the starter app, where you know beforehand that any entry under /blogs url prefix will be of a known content type. Well, this is not our case, we can have a sitemap similar to this:http://myhomepage.com/info/abc http://myhomepage.com/info/defWhere /abc and /def can be entries based on any of our page content types. We checked the API documentation, but every endpoint returning entries requires the ‘content_type’ parameter. Thanks!
As a Contentstack ‘superuser’ since mid-2019, i have been heavily involved with building and designing schema. That also means i’ve used the old UI a fair amount vs the new UI. I’d be interested to know if people have been using the new UI, what they like and what they think could be improved. Are there are any tricks you have encountered you would be willing to share?

What is the maximum amount of Automations and/or apps a single stack can have? You can have 50 projects with 50 automations in each, so technically 2500. However, the main limitation is the number of executions - we have a tiered pricing plan for that. Learn more about Automation Hub limitations here. The Developer Hub, Marketplace, Automation Hub... Are these features enabled yet? I only see Stacks and Org Settings. Some users are told they are not authorized to access. Those need to be enabled in your organization. Your can reach out to your Customer Success Manager/support team to request those features to be enabled as per your plan allowance.Additio
Hi, I am quite new in using in the new interface, but getting used to it. ;-) However, I am struggling a bit with the new Search. For our purpose, it very often is not specific enough. For example, looking for a registered user of our website who is using a gmail address, we would find any gmail users when looking for firstname.lastname@example.org. Another example: If I search for a text in a content block, get too many results,I am not able to specify my search by adding a second word. I will get the message “Cannot use multiple Text fields”. Do you have any plans to improve that behaviour?I miss the old fields on top of an individual content block whihc I found more intuitive. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I’m a PM here at Contentstack working on the new Automation Hub product. I would be really interested to hear more from anyone about any user stories you have surrounding automations. Do you employ any automations in your existing workflows? What tasks are you currently automating? Think about your current business processes related to content. Are there any repetitive tasks that could be automated? Can you identify any multi-step processes that could be streamlined? Are there any tasks currently performed by humans that could be made more consistent through automation? Humans sometimes forget things or make mistakes. :( Do you currently have any “middleware” (such lambda functions using web hooks) that helps automate workflows or integrations between vendors? Any other thoughts about the Automation Hub or automations in general? I would love to hear from you! Click on my profile and then use the “send message” button and let’s chat. Thanks in advance!!
