On the Contentstack “Entry Trigger” in Automation Hub there is now the ability to add reference parameters to the trigger. This allows you to include reference field content in the payload information (usually done by adding an “include” parameter with the name of your reference field in the API call).
This may be necessary when sending information to an external provider such as a search service in order to ensure that reference entries are included.
- Must provide the unique_id of the content type containing the reference field.
- Nested references must be typed:
parent_content_type_uid.referenced_content_type_uid - Note that this information is one-way in the payload of the trigger.
